The flow of the river.
Karma reflecting writings,
Have you ever felt the pressure of the wind, strong enough to withstand, but your feet couldn’t move for an inch?!
At a moment, at a specific time, deep down in the ground rocks, fresh water capacity will surpass the resistance of the resistance of the comfort zone walls, and finally come out on the surface, to the sight of every living. The ground will always provide a path to the water to follow. Unfortunately, sadly, It will be a one way flow.
The born river will create its route, hitting and moving things in its way, with eagerness of growing bigger and bigger. As long as it goes, it will gather lots of water from different sides on the way. The color changes, the river bank keep diverting, and the flow speed keeps increasing. At a certain point on its way, there will be a waterfall, either low or high, the water will fall either way. At the time the water hit the bottom, it is the one of rarest moment you will find a two way flow in the river! Unfortunately, it ain’t last long. Depending on the height of the waterfall, it will take water a certain time to bounce back from the bottom to the surface, and continue the original one way flow.
If there is a thing we have to learn from rivers, is “Flexibility”; no matter how bigger it gets, it will hit unmovable heavy rocks, meet huge mountains. Thus, it will have to make thousands of corners, but keeps finding a way to go on. It does meet lots of hardships on the way, yet it feeds uncountable creatures, not forgetting the power it provides to lighten our cities. But, a wonder question is, what does it get back in return? At the end of the day, we all know the rivers as the trash bins to move our wastes! If rivers could cry, we couldn’t handle the scream through our ears, the sea level would rise every second. If rivers could bleed, the planet’s color would definitely be red.
I do feel that pain, that sorrow of not getting back what you deserve, but sometimes, we ain’t got the power to change a single thing about it. We only pray for it to finally find its well assigned destination, the place and the moment it meets the ocean/sea, when the loneliness one way flow ends, and start to feel the storm of togetherness. Amen.
