Have you ever give a thought of how life would be, without a purpose? Just living a day, with no guarantee that tomorrow you will hear bird songs of the dawn, see the sun rising, schedule whole day in the morning, sweating on the midday, enjoy the sky view of sunset, feel the breeze of twilight!

The school would be an imagination, formal education and sciences would sound as a myth! There would no such thing as planning, and we would be stuck in the middle of nowhere. You may or will have to come across the question “What is and how do you define security?” For some, grown up in a certain underdog region would look up into your eyes, straight to your face and simply say “The absence of war!” On the other side, you will get different answers as “Peaceful time, Freedom from disturbance, absence of threats, tranquility,..”. You can give your own answer, and describe that great word according to your point of view, in the end, you will get to see that security is Development. A great number of people around the world have born and raised under the rhythm, continuous beat of gunshots, and only God knows when to put a period on the situation. In the war, we only think of surviving, thriving cause we just live a day, while at peace, we think of growing; Rich, Intelligence, Family, finally our Country.

Everyone on the planet deserves a chance to live a peaceful life, planning for grandchildren, having hope of living a couple of decades ahead. I am thankful because I am living it as a Rwandan, and I keep praying for those still looking for that we have. I keep asking myself “What would happen if none cared?” Luckily, I am still standing, thanking our force, the men on duties, sons on the frontlines, may God bless them and their offsprings. Keep thinking of super heroine’s acts of those particular people in our lives. Let's be among the ones to make a change, to leave behind something great to be remembered for.
